We are seeking a creative and strategic Lead Product Designer to drive the design vision for complex, customer-centric digital products. In this role, you will lead end-to-end product design for high-impact initiatives, leveraging user research, data, and AI-enhanced workflows to create exceptional experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive, scalable, and innovative designs. As a mentor and design advocate, you will guide junior designers, establish design standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your work will directly influence business outcomes and customer satisfaction, shaping the future of product experiences in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Accountabilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of product experiences, from research and ideation to prototyping and execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product management, engineering, data, and research teams.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles, ensuring solutions meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Conduct customer research, validate hypotheses, and iterate designs based on insights and feedback.
- Establish design guidelines, standards, and workflows to maintain consistency and scalability.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback, facilitating workshops, and elevating team design capabilities.
- Communicate design rationale effectively to executives, stakeholders, and customers.
- Integrate AI-driven tools and agentic workflows to enhance product design and user experiences.
Requirements- 8+ years of experience in customer-focused digital product design, ideally in Fintech, AI products, or complex problem domains.
- Proven track record of shipping impactful digital products to large user bases.
- Expertise in interaction design, visual design, and design communication.
- Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams including PMs, engineers, researchers, marketers, and customer-facing teams.
- Experience leading end-to-end user research and translating insights into actionable designs.
- Knowledge of AI-driven workflows or designing for AI-enhanced user experiences is a plus.
- Growth mindset with the ability to learn from feedback and iterate designs effectively.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills to articulate design decisions to various audiences.
