About the Role

As an experienced Graphic Designer for Buddle’s Internal Marketing Team, you will be involved in the entire process of meeting design requirements and briefs. You will create a wide variety of high-quality Marketing Collaterals to help take Buddle to market, working directly with the Head of Growth & Partnerships.

Your designs must be brand-consistent, eye-catching, modern, and clean to capture attention and communicate the right message to Buddle’s existing and potential clients. A good work ethic, creative flair, and the ability to translate written requirements into compelling visual designs are therefore essential. If you communicate well visually and thrive in a small, agile, remote team, we’d love to meet you.


Key Responsibilities

Design & Creative Execution

  • Meet all design briefs, requirements, and deadlines.
  • Ensure all graphic assets are brand-consistent with Buddle’s brand guidelines.
  • Work with the Head of Growth to improve Buddle’s existing sales & marketing collateral.
  • Create high-quality sales decks and presentation documents (e.g., Google Slides).
  • Design compelling Social Media graphics (especially for LinkedIn) and other digital assets.
  • Develop engaging GIF animations for various marketing channels.
  • Create eye-catching and clean layouts through excellent typography skills.
  • Expertly edit photos and vector images using industry-standard software.
  • Proactively come up with new design initiatives to elevate the brand.

Workflow & Tools

  • Demonstrate proven Project Management & Time Management Skills.
  • Experience in working with a content calendar to manage and prioritize workload.
  • A high level of skill using Canva (especially Canva Pro features like Brand Hub), Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design software.
  • Experience in working with Google Docs and Google Slides.
  • Copywriting skill is a plus but not a must.

Other Responsibilities
Make necessary process suggestions and improvements that can help the team 

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed 

Perform other marketing-related tasks and duties that may be assigned by the Manager later on


About You

  • 5+ Years of Experience in Similar
    Full-Time/Part-Time Roles 
  • 3+ Years of Experience working in a Marketing Team with a Marketing Manager (not necessary, but ideally in an Australian company)
  • Solid Canva experience producing graphic assets on Canva Pro using “Brand Hub” and other advanced features
  • Solid Project Management experience using Monday.com and other similar project management tools 
  • Ability to come up with design initiatives proactively
  • Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines 
  • Understanding of the Australian Market/Clientele is a huge plus
  • Degree in Graphic Design is a plus
